eating disorder, anorexia, recovery, NEDA walk

Many of you may already know I suffered a 10-year battle with anorexia and bulimia as a teenager and young adult. There weren’t any Eating Disorder Awareness Programs back then, and I kept my behavior a secret for years until I learned it was a disease. Finding help not only saved me from dying, but it also put me on a spiritual recovery path to really live and to heal from an early life of chaos and the events which made me an easy target for developing an eating disorder in the first place.

I’m asking for your support in my participation in the Nashville, TN NEDA Walk. You can donate to my team’s effort by clicking here, click ‘Donate’ in the upper right hand box, and then look up my team, Finding The Gift.

If you are local and want to walk with me, follow the same instructions above, but click ‘register’ instead of ‘donate’ and then select ‘register as a member of an existing team’ and search for my team, Finding The Gift!

My personal goal is to raise $1,000 in the Nashville Walk. Every dollar donated can help someone live a life without an Eating Disorder, or find help if they are already struggling.

Thank you for your time and support!
