Hello fellow Nashville Cat Rescue adopters, fosters and other supporters! Thank you for taking a moment to see how you can help Nashville’s kitties through the purchase of fine art for your home or office.

Who is Angela Howell? I’m an almost native Nashvillian (been here since I was 12) married to a native Nashvillian, who didn’t used to be a cat guy. Times change and now we have a large, blended fur family with kitties inside and a formerly feral colony in and out of our garage. It seems we have always been that family with a sign on our door welcoming stray kitties.

We’ve rescued, fostered, built shelters, and loved a lot of kitties. If our “inn is full,” Nashville Cat Rescue has helped us find fosters for the kitties who found us. Occasionally, we have even fostered NCR mamas and kittens that had nowhere else to go, because the full-time fosters were full. It makes our hearts happy to support Nashville Cat Rescue because they truly are making a difference for Nashville’s homeless kitties. And if you’re reading this, so are you!

This year, instead of just writing a check, we decided to do something special. It is my honor to offer up over twenty paintings for this fine art pop-up event, giving fifty percent of the proceeds to Nashville Cat Rescue. You, the community, will determine the size of our collective gift!

Please enjoy browsing the paintings included in this event. Some of them have been painted with our cat, Harvey, riding my apron! He learned to hang on so I could paint handsfree. I like to think those paintings ended up with a little extra love.
